FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling industry and can be used for cold rolling of strip from steel or alloys of nonferrous metal of hot-rolled semis. At cold rolling it is required to hold tolerances for lengthwise and crosswise gage interference. Note here that requirements to rolled strip precision of lengthwise gage interference, crosswise profile and shape are continuously toughened. Modern technologies involve application of strip length depth automatic control system (DACS) and strip crosswise profile and shape ACS (SPACS) with tolerance for uniform tolerance for strip depth deviation from nominal value over strip entire area. Distinctive feature of proposed process consists in that rolling is executed with setting of various tolerances in DACS and SPACS subject to uniform tolerance for depth deviation from nominal value over the strip entire area, said relationships being specified by mathematical relationships. Note here that hot-rolled semis result from rolling with tolerance for crosswise gage interference while said tolerance is set subject to uniform tolerance for deviation from nominal depth over the entire area of finished cold-rolled strip. This relationship is described by mathematical expression.
EFFECT: higher precision.
