FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for determining magnetic induction of textured electrical steel and can be used when magnetic property measurement devices are not available or it is impossible to use them due to such reasons as too low weight and size of a specimen or too bad quality of its surface. At implementation of the method, Euler angles are measured for each crystalline grain in a specimen by means of a metallographic method of etching pits; angle θi (degrees) of deviation of orientation of a crystalline grain is measured; surface areas Si (mm2) of crystalline grains are combined with correction coefficient X for element Si (X=0.1~10 T/degree); parameters θi, Si, X are corrected based on magnetic saturation induction B0 (T) of monocrystalline material. Magnetic induction B8 of textured electrical steel is determined by the following formula: .
