FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: method for drying products of vegetal origin includes cutting into 4.5÷5 cm thick slices and preliminary removal of moisture from the products with the help of a juicer until production of moisture quantity m1=(0.25÷0.3)m, where m - source product weight; then the preliminarily squeezed product is finally dried in a microwave oven in 0.18÷0.21 kg portions at 75÷80°C during 20÷22 min.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce labour intensity, simplify equipment and decrease drying time more than 3 times.
