FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, to building raising, and may be used in reconstruction of low-rise buildings, preferably under conditions of dense urban development. The method of building raising includes roof dismantling, partial dismantling of bearing elements, assembly works with usage of light metal structures and installation of a new roof. A feature of the method consists in the fact that bearing elements are dismantled above staircases, and stair flights and landings are raised in the raised part of the building. Then stands are installed onto available support pillars, onto which they mount horizontal beams to form a frame for external walls. Some stands are fixed by ties. Then an additional frame is installed, comprising support elements for window and door openings, which is fixed to stands and beams. Then external walls of the multi-layer structure are mounted, and the additional frame is lined in layers. As walls are erected, bearing elements of the roof are installed with provision of protection against condensation, heat and steam insulation, and the roof is arranged, afterwards rooms are re-planned and finished.

EFFECT: reduced time of construction.
