FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: resistive temperature transducer includes a multilayered tube consisting of an external metal layer, an internal dielectric layer on which a coil of a sensitive element from an isolated wire is wound. The tube also includes an electrically-insulating layer applied above the coil of the sensitive element and the internal dielectric layer. The dielectric tube is made from polymer and has an outer diameter that is equal to or larger than the inner diameter of the metal tube forming an external layer of the resistive temperature transducer. A manufacturing method of a resistive temperature transducer proposes winding of the coil of wire on the dielectric tube. Before the coil is wound, the dielectric tube is elongated by stretching along the longitudinal axis till the diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the metal tube. After winding is completed, protection of the coil wire is performed by means of an electrically-insulating layer; the dielectric tube is placed inside the metal tube and heating of the whole structure is performed till compression of the dielectric tube before a common multilayered element is formed.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of measurements and reliability of a metre.
