FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to optimisation of process parameters in crude oil refining unit in order to reduce corrosion and/or deposition of corrosion products in the above unit whereunder: at least one parameter is measured and/or forecasted for one or more points in the crude oil refining unit, at that this parameter is selected from the group including pH value, chloride ion concentration, iron ion concentration, ion concentration of metals different from iron and corrosion rate and related to at least two chemicals selected from the group including a neutraliser, caustic soda and filming inhibitor; the optimal range related to the measured and/or forecasted parameter is defined, at that the optimal range may be set by the user; when the measured and/or forecasted parameter exceeds limits of the optimal range related to this parameter, then changes are made in delivery of at least two chemicals out of the specified neutraliser, caustic soda and filming inhibitor to the process flow. Invention is also related to a digital data carrier and system for optimisation process flow parameters in the crude oil refining unit.
EFFECT: regulation of the system parameters allows corrosion control in the crude oil refining unit by reduction of the fluid corrosion activity in the process flow and/or by protection of the system from potentially hazardous corrosive substance.
