FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, and namely to low-alloyed powder on the basis of iron, and can be used to obtain high-strength sintered parts, namely the parts for components of a car. The steel powder sprayed with a water jet contains the following, wt %: 0.45-0.90 Ni, 0.30-0.55 Mo, 0.1-0.3 Mn, less than 0.2 Cu, less than 0.1 C, less than 0.25 O, less than 0.5 of inevitable impurities, and iron is the rest; with that, Ni and Mo are introduced by diffusion alloying of iron powder. A method for obtaining a sintered part from the steel powder sprayed with the water jet involves the preparation of a powder composition, pressing of the composition under pressure of 400 to 2000 MPa, sintering of the obtained workpiece in a reducing atmosphere at a temperature of 1000-1400°C, and when necessary, the performance of heat treatment by hardening and tempering.
EFFECT: sintered parts are characterised by high strength and good weldability.
