FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: according to this method a request signal as pulse-width modulated current pulses is sent from the master device through a two-wire circuit to sensors with digital output, which generate response signals by varying current pulse length. At each pulse beginning the maximum value is set for current supplied from the master device to the communication circuit, voltage is compared in the communication circuit with voltage of the master device and when voltage values are equal amplitude of the current pulse is decreased and amplitude of voltage pulse is stabilised in the communication circuit. At scanning of the sensors the first bit of the transmitted data is generated by a short current pulse corresponding to "Log 0", thereafter the number of the scanned sensor is transmitted by pulse-width modulated current pulses; in order to receive the response signal current pulses corresponding to "Log 1" are generated by the master device and length of the above signals is modulated by output code of the scanned sensor and availability of current pulses in the communication circuit is confirmed by voltage pulses received by the microcontroller of the master device.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and improved reliability of data exchange.
