FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes two-barrel case and elongated striking element with semi-spherical front edge, which includes plastic tray and rubber hollow tip the surface of the cavity of which repeats outer surface of tip and is conjugated with axial hole in its tail portion, and plastic housing in the form of disc, which is installed with longitudinal stop in the case and equipped with end protrusion passing through holes made in tray and tip to its cavity so that the edge is borne against its surface opposite its front edge. Tail portion of tip is tightly fixed in plastic tray having the shape of shell with drive band and hole made at the bottom, which is coaxial and equal to hole made in the tip. Housing is installed with pressure on the side of case to tray. As per the first version, some part of protrusion of housing, which is sunk into cavity of tip, is diametrically lowered relative to holes made in the tray and tip, and powdered irritant is arranged in the cavity of tip between the latter and end protrusion. As per the second version in the housing there arranged is pyrotechnic retarder with operating time which is less than flight time of striking element for minimum firing distance, and in end protrusion of the housing there is arranged gas generator of irritant aerosol.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accident-free operation of ammunition.
