FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: articulated-lorry system comprises carrier, trailer, controller, steering control input influence transducer and gear selection sensor. Carrier is coupled with trailer. Carrier and trailer are equipped with power plants, swivel wheels and steering mechanisms. Controller is connected with every power plant, steering control input influence transducer and gear selection sensor. Controller can manipulate the response of power plants proceeding from output data received from gear selection sensor. Besides, it manipulates the trailer steering mechanism to set controlled wheel angular position on the basis of output data. It uses data from steering control input influence transducer and gear selection sensor to measure angular position relative to trailer lengthwise direction.
EFFECT: control over trailer in reverse direction, higher efficiency and safety.
