FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to microbiology, biotechnology and pharmaceutics, namely to small regulatory molecules able to change a density-dependent communication and regulated bacterial collective behaviour (quorum sensing) in a targeted way. In particular, the invention refers to using a thiazol derivative of formula
1 as a bacterial collective behaviour (quorum sensing) regulator (activator or inhibitor).
EFFECT: thiazol derivative aimed at the homoserine lactone mediated quorum sensing regulation in violacein-producing biotechnologically effective, putrefactive and pathogenic bacteria.
