METHOD FOR MAKING MAMMARY IMPLANT, MAMMARY IMPLANT AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATION OF MAMMARY IMPLANT FOR BREAST TISSUE IMITATION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61F2/00

Abstract RU 2534868 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment and can be used in prosthetic replacement of deficient tissue in females with a removed mammary gland. A mammary implant is made by filling a film coating welded all around with a filling agent; the film coating is then placed in a matrix with a punch. Before filling the film coating welded all around, a mixture of the filling agent is prepared by mixing at least two ingredients of the filling agent with degassing the mixture until de-aired completely, or the mixture of the filling agent is prepared by charging at least two ingredients into separate reactors of a dosing and mixing unit with the ingredients to be mixed, de-aired completely and dispensed to the film coating in an amount fitting the size of a prosthesis typical size. The filled film coating is hanged to provide residual air outlet or de-aerating by smoothing; the filling holes are sealed, and the film coating is fixed in the matrix whereon the punch is mounted. The matrix with the fixed punch is placed into a heat chamber to cure the filling mixture at a temperature of 75 to 200°C; the curing procedure is followed by cooling the matrix by the ambient air or in a cooler to a temperature of 25-30°C. The mammary prosthesis made in accordance with the presented method comprises the film coating with the filling agent. The filling agent consists of at least two ingredients. One ingredient of the filling agent contains a curing component, while the other ingredient contains a cross-linking agent. The mammary prosthesis is used for imitating the breast tissues in the females with the removed mammary gland, for making advertising models, mannequins, property, garment work pieces, etc.

EFFECT: enables reducing the price of the manufacture process of the mammary prostheses having the improved service properties, and providing the ease of use of these prostheses.
