FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of a hot gas generator, pipes for feeding an oxidant and fuel, an ignition unit, a reaction chamber fitted with a unit for feeding hydrocarbon material and a quenching chamber fitted with pipes for feeding a quenching component. The apparatus is characterised by that it is further fitted with a raw material evaporator-heater mounted on a heating body at the outlet of the quenching chamber, fitted with a pipe for feeding liquid raw material and connected by a gas duct to the unit for feeding raw material into the reaction chamber; the unit for feeding raw material is in the form of a mixer made from a unit of two-component gas burners; the reaction and quenching chambers are fitted with rings - stream agitation activators, and a mixer for mixing the reaction mixture with the quenching component is placed at the inlet of the quenching chamber, said mixer being in form of a unit of two-component gas-liquid burners.
EFFECT: apparatus enables to obtain higher specific output of unsaturated hydrocarbons, primarily ethylene, compared with currently used apparatus, reduces specific consumption of fuel and oxidant and lowers the cost of the obtained products.
