FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an iron soleplate, in particular, to a steam iron soleplate and to the soleplate manufacture method; the soleplate surface, intended for putting onto items to be subjected ironing, consists of anodised aluminium or is coated with an anodised aluminium layer. For ironing and sliding improvement, one applies onto the surface of anodised aluminium a relief enamel pattern that may contain, preferably, colouring pigments of silicate paint where silicate components are substituted with aluminium.
EFFECT: proposed invention proposes a significantly improved (in comparison with the technology level) iron soleplate at least the surface whereof is made of anodised aluminium.
