FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be related in clinic of internal medicine, in hepatology and departments of radiodiagnostics. Essence of claimed method consists in the following: transabdominal ultrasonic examination, endosonography and simultaneously with the latter compression elastography of pancreas are performed. In case of diffuse nature of changes convex sensor is successively installed in the place of pancreas head projection, namely in descending part, bulb apex and in bulb of duodenum, in the place of pancreas body projection: in antral part and body of stomach, in the place of pancreas tail projection - in fundus of stomach. in case of focal formations sensor is successively installed depending on topography of focal formation into the area of projection of head, body, tail of pancreas, in focal, perifocal and extraperifocal zones. Coefficients of difference of indices of compression elastography SR are determined. If SR is lower than 10 c.u., diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis is verified. If SR is in the range from 11 to 25 c.u., diagnosis of pseudotumorous pancreatitis is confirmed. In case if SR is higher than 25 c.u., diagnosis of malignant neoplasm of pancreas is confirmed. Carrying out compression elastography with endosonography makes it possible to verify malignant neoplasms of pancreas, differentiate chronic and pseudotumorous pancreatitis in due time.

EFFECT: method is characterised by simplicity, is low-invasive and reliable, is well tolerated by patients, does not require additional manipulations and can be widely applied in clinical practice.
