SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the area of petroleum geophysics and may be used during geophysical surveys of inclined and horizontal oil and gas wells. An umbilical comprises a channel or channels filled with a working body of a low density along its whole length and a sheath with insulation inside it that covers electric wires, at that the ratio of the cross-section elements in the umbilical is defined as per the formula.

EFFECT: suggested invention allows operations on horizontal wells surveying with low costs of energy required for pushing of the umbilical in the well to a large distance with low wear characteristics of actuators.
