SUBSTANCE: gear wheel includes a body, a toothed rim with teeth and a pair of annular patch pieces fixed on the teeth ends and the wheel body sections adjacent to them. Each tooth consists a pair of plates bent as per the profile of side surfaces of the tooth designed for this wheel, the plates are fixed in end patch pieces and together form the profile corresponding to the designed tooth side surfaces, and cavity between plates is completely filled, for example by poured plastic.

EFFECT: lower expenditures on gear wheel production with strength characteristics being preserved.
