FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers-electrocoalescentres and can be used to make water-oil emulsions at oil electrical desalting plants. Proposed device is composed of vertical earthed Venturi tube housing with electrode aligned therewith. Water feed nozzle is arranged at the bottom in housing axis. Variable electric field inside said chamber is induced between central rod electrode and Venturi tube mixing chamber walls. Nozzle counter electrode is composed by Venturi tube confuser part. Voltage to electrode and nozzle is fed via current conductors and bushing from step-up transformer.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of coalescence.
