FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric dehydrators (EG) for dehydration and desalting of oil and oil products. Inner space of horizontal container 1 is divided into two halves by two vertical partitions 12 and 13 to form inter-screening space. First partition wall 12 is made at the height of not less than 4/5 of the container diameter providing the oil flow. Second partition 13 is made on the entire height of the reservoir and in its lower part there is a hole, to which the input header of oil 4 is connected. In inter-walls, pipe 8 is installed with nozzles for supply of flushing water, equipped with plates 9 for flow turbulisation and mixing of oil with water. Pipe 8 is connected to flushing water feed branch pipe 7. Each part of the electric dehydrator comprises an electrode system, a collector system and a high-voltage power supply 10 with a high-voltage input device 11.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified process of desalting and dehydration of oil, reduced consumption of fresh flushing water.
