METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING HYBRID TRAIN Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC B61L3/00

Abstract RU 2536007 C2

FIELD: physics; control.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to train control systems. An on-board train control system, which interacts with a track-mounted cab signalling apparatus, comprises a positioning subsystem, a means of receiving and decoding cab signalling speed codes, means of converting said cab signalling speed codes and means of generating a stop schedule. A train control system in which generation of allowed movement limits is a dynamic process, wherein a more restrictive speed code results in cutting off the allowed movement limit, and a more permissive speed code results in expanding the allowed movement limit. An on-board train controller comprises an on-board positioning subsystem, an on-board interface device, an on-board processor with a computer-readable data medium and a control logic segment.

EFFECT: displaying boundaries of allowed movement.
