FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to composite rotary cutting tools and methods of their production. Composite article comprises elongated part consisting of first section including the first cemented carbide and inner section boded without flux with outer section and including the second cemented carbide. At least one of said cemented carbide first and second sections comprises hybrid cemented carbide containing disperse phase of cemented carbide and continuous phase of cemented carbide. At least one phase of said cemented carbide disperse phase and continuous phase contains at least 0.5 wt of cubic carbide based on the weight of phase including cubic carbide. Proposed article is produced by mixing, compacting and annealing.
EFFECT: composite tool not interacting chemically with machined article, high hardness and strength.
