FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to design of diesel locomotives. Proposed locomotive has detachable tank of cryogenic gas tank mounted at locomotive main frame above one of the bogies. Said tank is spaced from engineman cab, opposite the locomotive main frame. Impact- and shockproof bulkhead is mounted between power plant and said detachable cryogenic gas tank. Auxiliary equipment and fixed ballast are mounted at locomotive main frame so that at tank fuel amount of 0.4-0.6 of total fuel amount, vertical load from main frame is distributed uniformly over locomotive bogie. Said detachable tank of cryogenic gas tank is equipped with standard supports for securing at said main frame. Detachable tank of cryogenic gas tank discharge pipe is connected with gasifier gas pipe via fast-release joint. Locomotive can also be equipped with moving ballast furnished with the drive of lengthwise displacement. Note here that said drive can be electrically connected with tank fuel amount transducer.

EFFECT: higher safety, decreased difference between mounted axle axial loads.
