SUBSTANCE: invention relates to locomotives with a power plant. The locomotive comprises a main frame, a removable gas cryogenic liquid fuel tank, modules of a cooling device, a gas engine-generator, a high-voltage chamber, a driver's cabin, pneumatic systems and auxiliary devices. At the same time, the gas locomotive consists of power equipment and control complexes installed on the main frame, between which a removable gas cryogenic liquid fuel tank is attached to the main frame. The power equipment complex is installed above one of the bogies at the maximum distance from the control complex located at the opposite end of the main frame. The complex of power equipment contains: a bonnet-type body; gas engine-generator module; cooler module. The control complex contains: a bonnet-type body; high voltage chamber module; driver's cabin module; pneumatic systems module. Between the removable tank of gaseous cryogenic liquid fuel and the complexes of power equipment and control, shock-resistant fireproof partitions are strengthened.

EFFECT: increasing the safety of the locomotive crew in the driver's cab and uniform distribution of the vertical load from the main frame to the bogies.
