SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to measurement equipment. In the method to determine the intensity of convective heat exchange in a biotechnical system "man - clothes - environment" to determine the mass flow of air, the speed of its motion is measured in several points by three specific cross sections, the air flow is calculated, and the compliance with the law of its preservation is checked. An aerodynamic device comprises a ventilator, a preparatory and a heat exchange chambers, upper and side air intakes, which are equipped with measurement nets, integrating the growth of the air temperature in the process of heat exchange with the surface of a human body thermal model, instruments and structural elements to assess the air flow in the specific cross sections.
EFFECT: increased accuracy in the detection of intensity of convective heat exchange in a biotechnical system "man - clothes - environment" is obtained.
