FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this tool comprises indexable insert (1), holder with element (20) and means (14) to secure the insert to said holder. Holder wall extending upward and insert conical rear surface allow the insert attachment to said holder at predefined mutual positions. Holder curved section of the wall extending upward supports, on one side, said conical rears surface at every fixed relative position of said holder and said insert.
EFFECT: tight fit between conical rear surface and curved section preventing fouling.
