SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indexable cutting blades having multiple channels for cooling agent, each of which is configured to supply cooling agent to corresponding socket for cutting plate. Indexable cutting blade has opposite first and second sides of the blade, a peripheral edge of the blade, a central axis of indexing and at least first, second and third seats for a cutting plate, located along the peripheral edge of the blade. Cutting blade also has the first, second and third channels for the cooling agent, each of which forms a path for the cooling agent from the corresponding inlet hole to the corresponding one of the sockets for the cutting plate. Each channel for cooling agent includes front outlet opening to front side of its corresponding socket for cutting plate, and rear outlet opening to rear side of the same socket for cutting plate. Inlet hole corresponding to this channel for the cooling agent is located further from the seat for the cutting plate of this channel for the cooling agent than at least one of the inlet hole corresponding to the other channel for the cooling agent, and the central axis of indexing.

EFFECT: efficient cutting by indexable cutting blade.
