SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the diesel engine exhaust gas processing system. The essence of the invention: a diesel engine comprises an exhaust gas processing system incorporating a controller for control over the engine operation so that the first set of the exhaust gas parameters is obtained. It controls a fuel injector that injects the fuel upstream of DPF at the first injected fuel flow rate unless at least the first condition is satisfied. After this first condition is satisfied, it controls the fuel injector so that the injected fuel flow rate is decreased. Besides, it controls the engine operation to get the second set of the exhaust gas parameters whereat DPF is recovered. Note here that at least one parameter has different values in the said first and second sets. Besides, the invention covers the processing of the diesel exhaust gas purification.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of DPF recovery.
