FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: diesel engine is equipped with injector having multiple injection holes which have different directions of axes to injector axis, and inlet air valve which is operated so that it can be closed before the piston in the cylinder into which the fuel is injected reaches the lower dead point by using the control means which controls the closing moment of inlet air valve on the basis of engine operating conditions.
EFFECT: higher cleaning efficiency of exit gas and higher fuel combustion efficiency.
