FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of internal combustion engine exhaust gases enrichment with unburned hydrocarbons. Method includes steps of current engine operation mode control and performing subsequent fuel injection in one predetermined cylinder (12) from at least two cylinders (12), connected to exhaust manifold (14), when current engine operating mode matches its predetermined operation mode. Predetermined engine operation mode is mode, in which subsequent injection hydrocarbons, in fact, does not enter exhaust gas recirculation circuit for specific engine design.

EFFECT: higher reliability of internal combustion engine, reduced harmful emissions release.
