FIELD: medicine
SUBSTANCE: laboratory tests of dental products in vitro involves pressing hydroxylapatite at pressure 20-25 MPa; the surface of the pressed hydroxylapatite sample is coated with 0.25-0.75% boric acid in an amount of 0.05-0.10 ml/cm2; the sample is then heated to 700-780°C at 20-40°C/min, pumped out to 700-750 mmHg, kept heating to 1,050-1,100°C; the sample is settled in vacuum for 30-40 min and heated to 1,100-1,150°C and kept caking at atmospheric pressure for 30-40 min.
EFFECT: prepared hydroxylapatide ceramics hardness for the model sample is close to the natural enamel hardness that enables using it in the laboratory tests of abrasion resistance for dental and denture restoration.
