FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid nuclear power plant comprises a thermal nuclear reactor, the reactor steam generator and the steam-turbine unit driving the generator. The additional nuclear reactor as a source of the steam heating is added which is connected to the boiler superheater on his heating side. The inlet of the boiler superheater by the heated side is connected to the steam generator outlet, and the outlet is connected to the inlet of the steam-turbine unit. As an additional nuclear reactor the fast reactor or the thermal reactor is preferable, but it should has a nonaqueous delay mechanism, for example, graphite, and as the main nuclear reactor - water-to-water reactor is preferable. As an option, for higher improvement of efficiency at the expense of increase in pressure of sharp steam, it is possible to add an additional (intermediate) loop consisting of series connected steam generator, boiler superheater of intermediate contour by the heated side, on the heating side - of the condenser steam generator and the pump.
EFFECT: increase of effective power of NPP.
