FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: power plant of a nuclear-powered ship consists of a nuclear reactor, a steam generator, a steam turbine, an electric generator, necessary feed and condensate pumps, a condenser and a deaerator. In order to increase electric power, to save nuclear fuel, to improve the quality of generated electricity and environmental parameters the primary circuit steam generator is connected with the nuclear reactor through the feed pump. A power steam turbine, rigidly connected to an electric generator, is connected to the output of the secondary circuit steam generator, the power steam turbine's output is connected to the steam generator's input through the condenser, the condensate pump and the set of regenerative heaters of low and high pressure with the deaerator. The output of power generator is connected to the input of regulating electrical device which outputs are connected to propulsion motors, load devices and other ship electrical loads.

EFFECT: improved efficiency and higher effective power.
