FIELD: nuclear power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a steam turbine plant of a nuclear power plant. A steam turbine plant of a nuclear power plant using an additional steam turbine contains a system for burning hydrogen in oxygen with the content of unreacted hydrogen and oxygen in the vapor phase of the working fluid under pressure. The installation contains a magnetic separator, including a solenoid, a working channel and a main pipeline of circular cross-section, in the inner part of which a selective membrane based on an alloy of palladium with silver is installed at the site of the influence of a magnetic field on the purified water vapor stream. Moreover, after the hydrogen-oxygen combustion chamber in front of the high-pressure cylinder of the additional turbine of the steam turbine plant of the NPP and after the intermediate superheater in front of the low-pressure cylinder of the main turbine of the steam turbine plant of the NPP, catalytic recombiners (afterburners) of unreacted hydrogen are installed. The magnetic separator provides additional removal of unreacted hydrogen due to its sorption in the membrane. Any remaining unreacted oxygen is removed by the ejector pump system.
EFFECT: almost complete removal of unreacted hydrogen with a significant decrease in the concentration of unreacted oxygen in the working body of the steam turbine plant of the NPP while maintaining the nominal working life of the working blades of the main turbine of the NPP and the additional turbine.
