FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of alumina in Bayer process. Removal of alumina in Bayer process comprises addition of promoting anger to alumina production medium to produce alumina-bearing precipitate to be removed from process medium. Said promoting agent represents the composition including alumina dispersion or dry alumina with particle size of 2 to 200 nm.
EFFECT: control over alumina admixture level in alumina product.
