FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmosurgery and can be used for the implantation of intrastromal corneal segments in treating keratoconus. An intrastromal corneal ring-shaped tunnel is created by a corneal stroma femtodissection at a depth of 300 to 400mcm in the radial direction from 0 to 360°. Two through entry incisions are created to introduce the intrastromal corneal segment. The through entry incisions are extended perpendicularly to the formed corneal tunnel of the length of 1.0-1.3 mm asymmetrically from the prospected place of the corneal segment. The corneal segment is placed so that its borders are found as far as possible from the entry incisions.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of the corneal segment protrusion.
