FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum ring is pre-installed and the docking process is performed. Then, after centering and achieving optimal compression of the cornea with the interface, femtodissection of the corneal stroma is performed with the formation of a corneal tunnel with an outer diameter and an inner diameter of 5.6 mm and 5.0 mm, respectively, in the annular zone with an outer diameter of 7 mm and an inner diameter of 5 mm using a femtosecond laser at a depth of 75–80% of the minimum thickness of the cornea in the zone of keratectasia. Further, in the radial direction, a through inlet incision is formed with a length of 1.0–1.3 mm, perpendicular to the plane of the tunnel, the position of the inlet incision axis is set depending on the initial parameters of the cornea from 0 to 180 degrees. Intrastromal corneal segments are implanted into the tunnel thus formed, they are arranged according to the shape of keratectasia, and then ultraviolet crosslinking of the cornea is performed.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the number of rehabilitated patients, and also allows to delay corneal transplantation in this group of patients.
