FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of sandwiched metal panels in aerospace engineering. First, filler sheets are locally connected over intersecting zones. Filler welded sheets are placed in the mould between facing sheets and heated. Filler cells are moulded by gas feed at pressure in between filler sheets and diffusion welding of cells between each other and with facing sheets. At a time, argon is fed inside the mould at 400-600°C for plastic deformation of titanium alloy at the temperature lower than 700°C which is relates with variation in diffusion mobility of alloying substitution elements and their redistribution in solid α- and β-titanium solutions.
EFFECT: higher strength of panels, increased stability of sizes.
