FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: when engine pistons move from one dead point to another, the control system tracks actual weight values, temperature and pressure of air compressed in the compressor cavities, the temperature and pressure in an external combustion chamber, as well as temperature and pressure in working cavities of the pistons. On the basis of obtained data, the system determines the moment of bypass valves opening between the compressor and the working cavities of the pistons corresponding to specified coefficient of excess air and fuel dose supplied to the external combustion chamber. In this case, the air compressed in the compressor cavities of the pistons flows into their working cavities, as a result of which fuel mixture corresponding to specified excess air coefficient is supplied to the external combustion chamber.
EFFECT: increased engine control efficiency.
