FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises support element (16) connected with welding jaws bearing and/or rotary means (10, 10a, 10b), electrode fixed holder (36) supported by means (42) with bracket, and electrode holder (50) displacing relative to first holder (36). Displacement of holder (50) is controlled by linear actuator (54) coupled with bearing structure. Both holders (36, 50) are provided with appropriate welding electrodes (38, 52) whereto current is fed by transformer unit (56) coupled with bearing element. Bearing element (16,16a, 16b) is arranged between said linear actuator (54) and transformer unit (56), on one side, and electrode holders (36, 50), on the other side. Means (42) with brackets are rigidly connected with end section (66) of linear actuator (54) via bearing element (16, 16a, 16b) that is integrated with said means (42) with bracket and with case (60) of said linear actuator (54).
EFFECT: low inertia, high precision of displacements in welding.
