FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises an electron beam generator intended for generation of electron beams converging in the direction of a target. The electron beam generator may contain, in particular, a curved surface of an emitting device with an electron emitter matrix based on carbon nanotubes and the associated electrode assembly. At that the spatial distribution of X-ray focal spots at the target may be denser than the distribution of electron sources, at that the latter is defined by hardware restrictions.
EFFECT: providing flexible control of X-ray emission, ensuring higher special resolution of the focal spot dot pitch at an achievement of the required positioning for resultant focal spots against the trajectory.
