SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an X-ray generation device. Device contains at least one emitter(s) (22, 22_1, 22_2, 22_3) of electrons having electrically conductive substrate (23). This electrically conductive substrate contains coating of nanostructures (24). Device further comprises heating element (21) attached to each electrically conductive substrate, as well as component receiving electrons (14), adapted to receive electrons emitted by the at least one emitter(s) of electrons. In addition, the device contains evacuated shell (10), configured to accommodate the at least one emitter(s) of electrons, a heating element and a component receiving electrons.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of Schottky emission in the device for generating x-rays.
