FIELD: physics, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communications equipment and may be used in MIMO systems. The technical result consists in increased noise immunity of channels due to usage of generation of a Dedicated Reference Signal (DRS). For this purpose the method includes stages, at which: a sequence of a Reference Signal (RS) of each antenna port is generated, each RS sequence is expanded, and the expanded sequence of RS is produced, each expanded RS sequence is multiplied by a previously determined scrambling code, and the requested DRS sequence is produced. Also a device is provided for DRS generation.

EFFECT: problem of imbalance of OFDM symbols capacity, and random nature may be introduced into DRS noise between different cells.
