SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication technology; it can be used in wireless communication systems. A base station communicates with a set of subscriber stations. The base station transmits control information and data to subscriber stations and identifies a set of RS patterns that must be used for communication with the subscriber station, assigns a subset of antenna port numbers within the set of RS patterns to subscriber stations, indicates assigned states in a downlink control information (DCI) format transmitted via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The base station transmits data using a subset of antenna ports corresponding to the subset of antenna port numbers. The base station also coverts reference signals corresponding to the subset of antenna ports in accordance with at least one RS pattern within the set of RS patterns.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of transmitted information.
