FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket technology, namely to the method of inhibiting conical charge of solid propellant. The method of inhibiting conical charge of solid propellant on automatic moulding machine comprises heating shell composition to a flowable state, placement of the fuel stick in the centre hub of the mould and the injection of the hot melt of shell composition through the gate into the gap between the fuel stick and the mould cavity. The mould cavity is used as a technological hub mounted between the stick and the housing of the mould. The inner wall surface of the technological hub is made conical corresponding to the side surface of the armoured charge. The outer wall surface of the technological hub in contact with the housing of the mould is made cylindrical, with the ability to move of the technological hub relative to the housing of the mould. Upon completion of injection and curing the shell composition the movable runner plate of the automatic moulding machine is removed and extraction of the technological hub with the armoured charge from the mould is carried out using the ejector, after which the charge is extruded separately from the technological hub.

EFFECT: high-tech and quality inhibiting of conical charge is achieved.
