FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two-screw or multi-screw extruder. This extruder has the body with at least two parallel-axis shafts running in one direction and equipped with double-coil transfer elements. Said transfer elements in cross-section perpendicular to said shafts adjoin in axle base with clearance smaller than 1 mm, preferably, smaller than 0.5 mm over the entire contour. Crest of first coil tightly adjoins the body inner wall and side surface and rod of appropriate transfer element. Spacing exists between the crest of another coil and body inner wall. Note here that said transfer element has transfer sections developed at an angle. Note here that every transfer element has axial length corresponding to, at most, to transfer element OD while turn angle of one transfer element makes 360 degrees/number of coils relative to the next transfer element.

EFFECT: higher extruder efficiency and quality of finished product.
