SUBSTANCE: invention relates to capping head (1) for screwing of screw caps (31, 33) on vessels, in particular, on bottles, with the central axle (3), capping cone (7), with a recess (5) for intake of screw cap (31, 33), with a serrated profile (9) with teeth (11), facing towards the central axis (3), and the recess (5) has a hole (19), the circle diameter of hollows between teeth of the serrated profile (9) is located on the first imaginary toroidal surface (13), and the circle diameter of tops of teeth of the serrated profile - on the second imaginary toroidal surface (15), and the first and second toroidal surfaces (13, 15) are located concentrically with reference to the central axis (3), the second toroidal surface (15) forms with the central axis (3) the first angle α, and the diameter of the capping cone (7) expands towards the hole (19). Meanwhile it is provisioned, that the first and second toroidal surfaces (13, 15) are formed organized the second angle β > 0°.
