FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device of fluid medium supply into exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine. A structure (1) for introduction of fluid medium, for instance, urea, into exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, comprising an injection facility (7) for injection of fluid medium into an injection chamber (3); a jacket (8), surrounding the injection chamber (3); a mixing nozzle (6); a collecting chamber (10), surrounding the jacket and connected to the injection chamber via jacket holes; and a bypass channel (12) to direct exhaust gases into a mixing nozzle without sending them via the collecting chamber and the injection chamber. The inlet (11) of the collecting chamber is made as capable of discharging some exhaust gases in order to send this discharged part of exhaust gases into the collecting chamber, then into the injection chamber via holes (9) and then to a mixing nozzle, while the bypass channel (12) is made as capable of sending the other part of exhaust gases flowing along the line into the mixing nozzle for mixing with the discharged part of exhaust gases. At the same time the total area of cross section of holes (9) in the jacket is less than the area of the cross section of the inlet (11) of the collecting chamber, so that the exhaust gases discharged into the collecting chamber (10) are exposed to pressure increase in it.
EFFECT: provision of efficient evaporation due to even distribution of urea solution by exhaust gases.
