FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: cutting plate to be fixed in the socket of the combined cutting tool housing or in the socket of the combined cutting plate is limited by the top surface comprising a front surface, bottom surface and lateral surface located between them, including the main and auxiliary back surfaces forming in crossing with the front surface respectively the main and auxiliary cutting edges. The lateral surface comprises the front and back lateral bearing surfaces located at an angle not exceeding the self-retardation angle between materials of the cutting plate and the combined cutting tool housing or the combined cutting plate housing the top of which is located from the side, opposite to the auxiliary cutting edge. Meanwhile on the lower surface two sections are made, the first of which is located under the main cutting edge and closer to it, than the second section, and the named front lateral bearing surface is located along the main cutting edge between the first and second sections of the bottom surface.
