FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of a hybrid vehicle. In the method of control of operation of the hybrid vehicle in case of failure of a power system high voltage will be transformed into low voltage for power supply of at least one control unit of the hybrid vehicle. At detection of a malfunction in the high-voltage power system it is disconnected from the electric driving unit. After disconnection of the high-voltage power system the electric driving unit is brought into the state intended for the generation of voltage safe for users, which will be converted into low voltage for power supply of, at least, one control unit. The device for the implementation of the above described method of control contains at least two driving units, one electric driving unit, a high-voltage and low-voltage power system and control units of the hybrid vehicle. Also there are devices for bringing of the electric driving unit into the state intended for the generation of safe voltage.

EFFECT: possibility of movement of the vehicle in an emergency mode without high voltage is achieved.
