FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a household laundry dryer containing a box-shaped body (3), a rotary drum, a calorifier (8) ensuring hot air flow circulation, a ventilation means (10) creating along the recirculation pipeline (9) air flow (f) through the rotary drum (4), a filtering element (1), positioned in the air flow recirculation pipeline (9) upstream at least one air flow cooling means (13) designed so that to enable easily dismountable installation into the recession (3b) made in the external edge of the laundry charging/discharging hole (3a). The filtering element (1) contains a plastic support plate (20) (designed so that to enable easily dismountable installation into the recession (3b) made in the external edge of the laundry charging/discharging (3a) of the laundry dryer (2) so that to ensure complete closure of such recession (3b), and an essentially hollow housing (21) in the form of a container projecting from the rear surface of the support plate 20 into the inner part (9b) of the air recirculation pipeline (9) of the laundry dryer (2). The hollow housing (21) is fabricated integrated with the support plate (20) by means of pressure casting and is divided into two mutually complementary parts (22a, 22b) in the form of wings pivotally interconnected along the side line. The filtering element (1) additionally contains an O-ring seal (24) made of thermoplastic elastomer and applied onto the whole of the external edge of the support plate (20) and/or a second O-ring seal (25) made of thermoplastic elastomer and applied along the whole of the connective external edge of at least either of the two parts (22a, 22b) of the hollow housing.
